SINGAPORE - The postponement of international sports due to the coronavirus will have an adverse impact on its business as punters are left with far fewer options on which to place bets, Singapore Pools said on Tuesday (March 17).
In response to queries from The Straits Times, its spokesman noted that the lottery operator "expect a fall in sports betting with the suspension of football matches... However, this situation is not unique to Singapore Pools; it affects all within this business".
