SINGAPORE - Malaysia beat Thailand 71-32 in their final preliminary match of the SEA Games netball competition at the OCBC Arena on Thursday.
The Malaysians were dominant in the first-half courtesy of goal shooter Norashikin Kamalzaman, who scored 41 goals, but the Thais fought back in the third quarter, out-scoring Malaysia 11-12.
However, the deficit was too much for them to make up, and Malaysia eased to victory in the fourth quarter.
Malaysia top the round-robin table of six countries, and will likely play Brunei in the semi-finals on Saturday.
