SEA Games: Malaysian bowling pair wins women's doubles gold, S'pore duo 4th

SINGAPORE - The Malaysian bowling pair of Esther Cheah and Sin Li Jane coasted to a convincing victory in the women's doubles event on Wednesday.

They combined for a total of 2,651 pinfalls to secure Malaysia's second gold at the SEA Games.

Indonesian duo Sharon Santoso and Tannya Roumimper were second with 2,545 pinfalls, while Malaysia also took bronze in the event as Shalin Zukifli and Syaidatul Afifah finished with a score of 2,524 pinfalls.

Host Singapore's best pairing of Jazreel Tan and Bernice Lim were fourth with 2,473 pins. The bowling competition at Orchid Country Club ends on Sunday.
