(6) IN MOTION fought hard to run second last time. He is in very good form, so if he stays the 1,600m trip, he will go close to winning.

(5) TUNGUSKA was disappointing last time, but if he does not need the run after a long break, he will be very competitive.

(2) QUIET PLACE stayed on well to finish just over two lengths behind Diogenes on debut. Include him in all bets.

Race 5 (1,950m)

(3) WORLD FIRST could be some serious value in this race. His bad draw at Durbanville last time did not help, but he gets a good draw and will love the step-up in trip.

(3) LITTLE SUZIE ran a cracking second behind Rainbow Lorikeet in the Grade 2 Gold Bracelet (2,000m) last time. She can win a race like this from a neat draw.

(2) HAT’S PRIDE needed his last run, but it was a great effort for him to run fourth. He will be much fitter. Watch him closely.

(9) HIS MAJESTY could be anything. Top jockey Richard Fourie has been booked to ride.

Race 8 (1,400m)

(6) SAACHI ONE won going away last time. She should improve with the step-up to 1,400m. With some luck in the running, she can certainly win again.

(4) TULIP FIELDS stayed on well for fifth last time. She is still improving. Include her in all bets.

(1) LA LANDONNE ran a great second last time. She is in good form and gets a good draw.

(8) ACT OF GRACE did not have much luck in the running last time. She could run a big race on her best form.
