Ange Postecoglou assumed a position of solidarity this week when speaking of the difficulty of being a Premier League manager.

“This notion that clubs want to bring managers in and build stuff doesn’t exist,” he said, joking that he has a tougher job than British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as the Australian has an “election” every weekend, where he “either gets voted in or out”.
