Netball: Ho on target as Singapore seal big win

Singapore's netball team cruised to an 85-20 victory against Myanmar in their final preliminary round-robin match of the SEA Games competition last night.

Coach Ruth Aitken chose to start with goal shooter Yasmin Ho instead of regular starter Charmaine Soh, and she delivered, scoring 21 goals with 91 per cent accuracy.

Singapore never trailed against Myanmar who failed to qualify for the semi-finals as a result of the loss.

The win means Singapore finish second in the round-robin table behind Malaysia, and will face third-placed Thailand in the semi-finals tomorrow at 4pm.

Malaysia will face fourth-placed Brunei at 2pm.
