SINGAPORE - Singaporean pop sensation Nathan Hartono is set to perform live at mixed martial arts gig One: Defending Honour on Friday night (Nov 11) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

He will perform beginning 7.30pm followed by the national anthem at 10pm which will be broadcast live on Mediacorp.

Victor Cui, chief executive officer of One Championship stated: "Singapore just got a dose of star power as pop sensation Nathan Hartono is set to perform at Asia's biggest fight night this Friday.

"Nathan is a tremendous Singaporean talent and we are happy to have him become part of this amazing event."

Hartono, 25, is an actor and singer who was born and raised in Singapore. He made his singing debut after winning the Teenage Icon competition back in 2005.

A year later, he released his debut album, Let Me Sing! Life, Love and All That Jazz.

This year, he was the first runner-up in the first season of Sing! China.

Recently, he has also dabbled in acting, starring in his first ever television series, Halfworlds.

One Championship has combined music with the adrenaline-pumping action of MMA in recent years. Singapore will get the chance to experience first-hand the atmosphere of a live musical performance together with world-class MMA action.
