SINGAPORE - Maximilian Maeder may have made his recent triumph at the Formula Kite European Championships look like a walk in the park, qualifying straight for the final and needing just one race to retain his title.
But the 16-year-old found things more difficult the second time round. He had a bad start in the first of a possible six races in the finals, which caused him to fall behind the other three competitors.
