Race 1 (1,000m)

(5) THAT’LL B THE DAY finished second last time. He gets 4kg off with the apprentice claim and will be hard to beat.

(4) MOODY BLUE finished fourth in the same race as That’ll B The Day last time. He will be right there in the finish.

(6) ETERNAL DIAMOND was disappointing last time but he is better than that. He could finish among the places.

(1) PRETTY BOY can win on debut. This is not a strong field, watch him closely.

Race 2 (1,000m)

(7) ELUSIVE WINTER won well last time. He is very fast and on his best form, he can win.

(4) AIR RAID is better than his last run. He should go very close to winning at a decent price.

(3) WINTER SNAP will be tough to beat if he does not need the run back after a long break.

(6) LITTLE BOY BLUE finished second from a bad draw last time. The cheek pieces have been fitted and he will be competitive.

Race 3 (1,400m)

(2) GIMMIE RULES won well last time. He will love the step-up in trip to 1,400m, and from a good draw, he will be hard to beat.

(1) JET FORCE won well last time. From a neat draw, he will go close.

(6) GOODNESSGRACIOUSME stayed on well for second last time. Her form is solid, watch her closely.

(3) COASTAL COMMANDER could sneak into the quartet on his best form.

Race 4 (1,400m)

(8) MELA STRENGTH won a gutsy race last time. The tricky draw will make life tough for him, but if he gets some luck in the running, he can win again.

(3) FLYING SOUTH won her maiden well last time. The form of that race has worked out well, and the step-up to 1,400m suits.

(4) CEDAR POINT finished fourth last time. From a neat draw, he can be competitive.

(7) TRES CHIC tries hard. With some luck in the running, she can sneak into the places.

Race 5 (1,950m)

(9) GALLIC VICTOR finished second last time. With some luck in the running, he can win easily.

(1) HEAL AND SOUL gets a good draw, so he will be competitive.

(4) GENTLEMAN JOE ran well last time. He has a winning chance at this level.

(6) WESTERN WORLD bounced back to win last time. A massive each-way chance.

Race 6 (1,800m)

(4) TWO A PENNY stayed on for fourth last time. If she settles a lot closer to the speed from a good draw, she will go close to winning.

(9) LAVENDER BAY was touched off in the finish last time. She has a bad draw, but is honest.

(8) BENEATH THE CLOUDS finished third in the same race as Lavender Bay last time. If she gets some cheap sectionals in front again, she will be hard to peg back.

(1) HELIOTROPE has a good draw and gets the apprentice claim. She can pop up.

Race 7 (1,100m)

(2) BONNE BOUCHE is better than her last run. The drop back in trip suits. She can win.

(4) AVIGNON stayed on well for fourth first-up. If he gets away from the field at the right time, he will be hard to beat.

(5) BLACK PATH’s form has been good. Although she wants further, she will be doing some good work towards the end of the race.

(9) WINTERONTHEGREEN is in great form. With some luck in the running, she will be competitive.

Race 8 (1,000m)

(2) CHURCHILLIAN finished fourth first-up. He will be fitter, and on his best form, he can win.

(4) DEMANDING DAVE lost his race in the stipes’ room last time. He will be right there at the finish.

(7) BILLY COOL can be a tricky ride, but if the race works out for him, he will be competitive.

(1) ALL ABOUT AL finished second last time. Keep an eye on him.

Race 9 (1,000m)

(1) DAME OF TRIX will go close to winning. She will be on the speed early, include her in all bets.

(6) LOVE SHACK has run two excellent races in succession. She will be just off the speed early and she will be flying late. Watch her.

(4) PEACE OF MIND is better than her recent form. Watch her.

(9) OCTOBER FEST gets the services of top jockey Andrew Fortune, so her chances must be respected.
