New York Giants quarterback Drew Lock will start his second straight game Sunday against the visiting New Orleans Saints, coach Brian Daboll announced Wednesday.

Daboll also said Lock will take all of the first-team snaps in preparation for Sunday's game in East Rutherford, N.J.

Lock, 28, completed 21 of 32 passes for 178 yards with an interception that was returned for a touchdown in the Giants' 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. He added a team-leading 57 yards rushing and a touchdown.

"I'd say Drew did some good stuff in Dallas," Daboll said. "He also did some things that he can improve on. I want to give him a full week of preparation, practice, to let him go out there and play this week."

New York (2-10) has lost seven in a row heading into its game against New Orleans (4-8).

Tommy DeVito started the Giants' 30-7 setback to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 24. He injured his forearm in that game and will be limited in practice on Wednesday, Daboll said.

"If Tommy is well enough to be the second quarterback (on Sunday), he will be, and if not, it'll be Tim (Boyle)," Daboll said. "But I think he's trending in the right direction."

Daboll also said tight end Theo Johnson underwent surgery on his foot while right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (quad), defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches (neck), linebacker Bobby Okereke (back) and cornerback Deonte Banks (rib) are considered week-to-week due to their respective injuries.
