As chimeras go, qualifying for Sunday's (Nov 7) Mexico City Grand Prix was a humdinger. And as defeats go, Max Verstappen's subsequent Red Bull rout of Mercedes was as punishing as his performances in Styria, Austria or Zandvoort earlier in the season.
Once again, qualifying was exciting.
