On a hot and sticky afternoon in Hungary where Max Verstappen seemed to be ranting away over the radio more often than he was changing gear in his tricky Red Bull, until even his patient race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase effectively told him it was childish; and his main title rival Lando Norris was teasing his race engineer Will Joseph by apparently refusing to hand back a race lead circumstances had enabled him to “borrow” from McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, the 23-year-old Australian sophomore remained an oasis of calm.

If I were a rival and hadn’t been smart enough to have done so already, I would be taking strong note of that. Can anything disturb his equilibrium?
