SINGAPORE – Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is officially off the market.
The Formula One speedster has announced his engagement to 23-year-old model and influencer Alexandra Saint Mleux.
On Nov 3, the 28-year-old Monegasque and his partner shared the news on Instagram and Facebook with a series of romantic photographs with the caption ‘Mr and Mrs Leclerc’ and an emoji of a ring.
The couple’s dachshund Leo – it travels with Leclerc to races around the world – helped with the romantic proposal, with one of the photos showing a bone-shaped dog tag on a bow tie engraved with the words “Dad wants to marry you”.
Saint Mleux was also seen showing off a dazzling engagement ring.
According to reports, Leclerc and the Italian-born Saint Mleuz have been dating since early 2023, when they were first spotted together at Paris Fashion Week.
Saint Mleux has become a popular figure among F1 fans and she is often been seen accompanying the Ferrari ace to races. Their relationship has also been featured on Netflix’s popular docuseries Drive To Survive.
On the post announcing the news, fellow F1 drivers Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri and former Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz, were among those who offered their congratulations.
While he now has a huge milestone off the grid, Leclerc will be looking to notch more wins on the track. He has yet to win a race in the 2025 season and sits fifth in the drivers’ championship.
He came closest to the drivers’ title in 2022, when he finished second in the standings, 146 points behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
Since his F1 debut in 2018, he has clocked 167 races, 50 podium places and a total of eight race wins under his belt.
