Yasmin Namira Mohammad Yusman, 19, loved football since she was young but picked up the sport only three years ago. Her experience at NYP and Ayer Rajah Gryphons helped earn her a football scholarship.

When Yasmin Namira Mohammad Yusman first started playing football in January 2018, she never thought it would lead to her getting a scholarship to study abroad.
But last week, she became the second women's footballer to earn a scholarship to study in the United States after national player Putri Nur Syaliza Sazali, who is studying at Cumberland University in Tennessee.
