SINGAPORE – The Lions will be playing two friendly matches at the National Stadium in November to prepare for the Dec 8-Jan 5 Asean Football Federation (AFF) Championship.

World No. 162 Singapore will face 165th-ranked Myanmar on Nov 14 before taking on 168th-ranked Chinese Taipei on Nov 18.

Prices range from $12 to $40, with bundled packages also available. Away fans will be seated in the west zone area, with tickets priced at $30 each.

In the last Fifa window in October, Singapore played three friendlies against J1 League clubs as part of a 10-day training camp in Japan.

They fell 4-0 to FC Tokyo on Oct 8 before beating Tokyo Verdy 2-1 three days later. Tsutomu Ogura’s men then ended their camp with a 7-1 thrashing by Yokohama F. Marinos on Oct 14.

The Lions, who will be hoping to qualify for the AFF Championship semi-finals for only the second time in six editions, will start their campaign at home against Cambodia on Dec 11.

They will then meet Timor-Leste (away, Dec 14), Thailand (home, Dec 17) and Malaysia (away, Dec 20) in Group A.

Two-time winners Vietnam are in Group B with Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar and Laos. The top two teams of each group will move on to the semi-finals.
