SINGAPORE - An unlikely story of how three Arsenal players lost their way but were rescued by a passerby who recognised them is making the rounds on social media.
Sharul Shimano (@sharulshimano) posted on Instagram on Wednesday (July 15) describing his serendipitous encounter with the Gunners trio in - of all places - Ubi.
"So this happened yesterday," he wrote on the post, which also contained photos he took of the stars.
"I was reporting off work and instead of making a usual left towards Macpherson, I took a right towards Ubi. And out of nowhere I bumped into Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers."https://instagram.com/p/5KPnSAGKdO/?taken-by=sharulshimano
Sharul then approached Oxlade-Chamberlain, and found out that the football stars were lost after making a wrong turn and were late for training.
The midfielder then asked Sharul if he could help them to flag a cab, which he did.
Sharul's post was tweeted by Twitter user @haslimz on Thursday night, and has since been retweeted almost 3,800 times.https://twitter.com/haslimz/status/621334642247872512
