SINGAPORE - After 19 years, the pride was still evident through the phone line from Laos as V. Sundram Moorthy recalled one of his early achievements as a coach.
It was 2000, his unfancied Jurong FC had just beaten the Fandi Ahmed-coached and two-time league champions SAFFC in an S-League game and Sundram celebrated wildly at the final whistle.
