SEOUL (THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is a devoted fan of football club Manchester United, according to an exclusive report by The Sun on Monday (Sept 11).
In an interview with the British tabloid, Italian senator Antonio Razzi, who is said to be close to Kim, revealed that the latter never misses a major Premier League game and that he is a strong supporter of the Red Devils.
Razzi said Kim even believes that it's only a matter of time before North Korean footballers sweep into the British football scene and steal the limelight.
Jose Mourinho's charges have made an unbeaten start to the new season, winning three games and drawing once.
The Red Devils are due to play Everton this Sunday and Southampton on Sept 23.
They begin their Champions League campaign on Wednesday with a home match against Swiss side FC Basel.
