I have been a Liverpool fan since the mid-70s. I grew up watching black and white Big League football broadcasts around noon on Sundays. I was enamoured by the romance and style of the Liverpool team. I am also one of those long-suffering fans who have endured for 30 long years since our last win in 1990.

Every year we'd say "I think this will be our year!" only for it to fade away… ingloriously sometimes! I have also lived through teams where we had the likes of Julian Dicks, Paul Konchesky, El Hadji Diouf… I can almost hear the groans and facepalms among fans.
