The La Liga match between Valencia and Oviedo scheduled for Sept 29 evening has been postponed due to warnings of torrential rain, both clubs said.

The Spanish province of Valencia has been placed on red alert due to the extreme weather conditions.

The game has been moved to Sept 30.

The Valencia region suffered heavy flooding last October which killed more than 200 people and destroyed homes and property. REUTERS
