SINGAPORE - With nine domestic league titles in their trophy cabinet, Warriors FC are the most successful Singapore football club of the professional era, and the only one ever to compete in the Asian Champions League.

Yet those celebrated milestones seem a distant memory for the Singapore Premier League (SPL) team, who have spluttered on the pitch in recent seasons, and encountered a slew of problems off it.
