SINGAPORE - Even though the Republic's national youth teams languished at two recent Asean Football Federation (AFF) age-group tournaments, two Singaporeans had their own reasons to smile.
At those same tournaments, former Lions coach V. Sundram Moorthy and Young Lions coach V. Selvaraj helped Laos, one of the region's traditional minnows, shed that tag.
