LONDON - Tottenham's players must not count their chickens before they hatch if they hope to clinch their first Premier League title this term.

Hugo Lloris, captain and goalkeeper of the London club whose crest aptly contains an iconic cockerel that also stands proudly atop its White Hart Lane ground, delivered the warning to his teammates yesterday.
