Football: Former Brazil star Ronaldinho to be in town to establish his football academy

SINGAPORE - Former Brazil star playmaker Ronaldinho will be making an appearance in Singapore.

The 2002 World Cup winner will arrive at Changi Airport Terminal One at 1.45pm on Dec 10 on Emirates EK432 to sign at Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with five-time S-League champions Tampines Rovers and International Football Group to jointly establish the Ronaldinho Football Academy in Singapore.

The MOU signing ceremony will coincide with a product launch at ION Orchard, when Ronaldinho and his team of freestylers will demonstrate his exclusive endorsed product, an E-Scooter.

On Dec 11, he will also visit the ITE College Central for a meet-and-greet session, during which his team will also show how to enjoy the electric skateboard.
