RONALDO, FELIX SCORE DOUBLES TO KEEP AL-NASSR PERFECT

Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix both scored twice as Al-Nassr sealed a comfortable 5-1 win over Al-Riyadh on Saturday to keep Jorge Jesus' side in pole position in the early Saudi Pro League standings.

Kingsley Coman was also on target as Al-Nassr notched up a third win of the season to sit at the top of the table, ahead of defending champions Al-Ittihad on goal difference.

Al-Itthad needed an injury time goal from Ngolo Kante to win 1-0 against Najma and Laurent Blanc's side are two points clear of third-placed Al-Qadsaiah, who secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Khaleej on Friday.

SUZUKI PUNISHES URAWA ERROR TO TAKE KASHIMA CLEAR IN JAPAN

Kashima Antlers opened a three point lead at the top of the J-League on Saturday as Toru Oniki's side claimed a 1-0 win over Urawa Red Diamonds at Saitama Stadium.

Yuma Suzuki scored the game's only goal in the 14th minute when he pounced on an under-hit pass by goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa to steer the ball into an empty net.

Kashima pulled clear at the summit as second-placed Kyoto Sanga lost 1-0 to Shimizu S-Pulse and Kashiwa Reysol, in third, were held to a 1-1 draw by Cerezo Osaka.

RARE LOSS SEES JEONBUK LEAD CUT BY SECOND-PLACED GIMCHEON

K-League leaders Jeonbuk Motors fell to a rare defeat on Saturday as Gus Poyet's side lost 2-1 to second-placed Gimcheon Sangmu.

First half goals from Kim Seung-sub and Park Sang-hyeok gave Gimcheon a two-goal lead with Kim Jin-gyu netting a 63rd minute consolation for the nine-times champions.

The loss sees Jeonbuk's advantage trimmed to 17 points with Gimcheon retaining their hold on second, one point ahead of Daejeon Citizen, who won 3-2 against Daegu FC.

SHANGHAI PORT CLOSE IN ON LEADERS CHENGDU WITH BEIJING WIN

Chinese Super League champions Shanghai Port pulled level with current leaders Chengdu Rongcheng on Sunday as Kevin Muscat's side handed Beijing Guoan a 3-2 defeat while Chengdu were held to a 1-1 draw by Shanghai Shehua.

Brazilian forward Leonardo scored a hat-trick for Port to move his team onto 54 points, level with Chengdu and three clear of third placed Shenhua with five games remaining in the season.

Chengdu salvaged a point from their trip to face Shenhua when Tim Chow equalised in the ninth minute of stoppage time, cancelling out Shinichi Chan's 68th minute opener for the home side. REUTERS
