Race 1 (1,200m)

(13) MME HUNTRESS has run well in both her starts so far and could take out this opening event.

(2) UNDERDOG has shown some improvement of late when he finished in the placings at his last two statrs. He should fight out the finish once again.

(12) WINTER WEDDING is improving and can get involved with the finish yet again.

(7) ECHOES OF WAR showed improvement in his second start and could have more to follow.

Race 2 (1,200m)

(4) VAMANOS has improved with each start and could go one better over this course and distance.

(18) RED SECRET did not appear to like the soft track last time, but she ran well on debut and is not out of it.

(5) DONDOYAKI has not been reliable but does have a winning chance.

(14) GIRL IN VERDITE was not beaten far on her debut and should be a threat to these rivals.

Race 3 (1,200m)

A quality field and an interesting race. Most of these runners will be using this race as a preparation run for the feature races in November.

(3) RACHEL WALL is clearly very talented and does look the one to beat.

(5) ARASHI seems better than what she showed last time.

(2) RIFLE QUEEN is unbeaten in two starts and could be anything.

(1) FROZEN FANTASY has run some good races this year and was not disgraced. She is best weighted, so she must be respected for that.

Race 4 (2,000m)

(4) WAR SUMMIT seems better than his last run when he finished seventh over the mile. The step-up in distance could suit him.

(5) TRIP TO PEACE is in good shape and can get involved with the finish yet again.

(8) TEXAS MISSILE showed improvement at his second start when second behind Six Of All over the 1,800m. This longer distance should suit him, but he has not drawn well.

(9) THOONSIL could like this longer distance and has a place chance.

Race 5 (1,000m)

Some improving sprinters and a competitive handicap.

(3) TOP DIVISION is clearly better than his last run would suggest, and he could bounce back to score.

(1) RAFA BAY has improved of late with one win and one third at his last two starts. He has more wins in him.

(8) NOU PRAAT JY was a well-backed debut winner and could be anything.

(2) TWENTYTWENTYVISION is consistent and would not be a surprise winner.

Race 6 (1,000m)

(11) CONSTELLATION has done little wrong of late and can complete a hat-trick after scoring over the same trip at his last two runs.

(10) WAR OF KINGDOMS probably just needed his last run. It was a good performance, and he may well go one better this time.

(1) GIMMETHEGOODLIFE is improving and won a good race last time, but he does give weight away to his rivals.

(4) DONTSHOOTTHEBARMAN is usually competitive, so he should be respected for that.

Race 7 (1,200m)

(3) SHADOWFAX returns from a break, but he is talented and can score over this track and trip.

(6) KING HARALD is weighted to beat him based on some good performances this year, and deserves the utmost respect.

(1) THE LAST DUKE has not done much wrong so far and won by half a length over this trip last time. He can be competitive yet again.

(5) GOLDEN OPERATOR returned from a break for a good maiden win over the same trip last time, and could be well better than his rating.

Race 8 (1,200m)

(2) MAVERICK QUEEN was a well-backed winner of her latest start and may have another win in her tank.

(3) PEREGRINE FALCON is honest and consistent. The five-year-old gelding could be rewarded with a victory soon.

(5) FALCON STRIKE has improved this year and is not out of it.

(6) PHALA MILLIONS is in good shape and could contest the finish again.
