BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA (REUTERS) - Briton Gary Hunt at last proved he could dive off a bridge when he won the Red Bull Cliffdiving Mostar round on Saturday (Sept 16).

Hunt scored only his second victory of the season to reclaim the lead at the top of the men's competition standings, beating American Steven LoBue into second place with wildcard entrant series debutante Nikita Fedotov of Russia taking a surprise third place.

It was Hunt's 30th victory in 64 tournaments.

In the women's contest, Cesilie Carlton of the US put a poor season behind her to fire to score a first victory since 2015, with Australia's Helena Merten finishing second and German wildcard Anna Bader third.

The next and final round in the championship will be in Chile on October 21.
