Rugby winger Caleb Clarke extends contract with New Zealand and Auckland Blues

All Blacks winger Caleb Clarke has re-signed with New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and the Auckland Blues up to the end of 2025, NZR said on July 31.
The 25-year-old earned his 21st test cap in the All Blacks' 47-5 victory over Fiji in a one-off test in San Diego earlier this month, notching his seventh try since making his debut against Australia in 2020.
“Any chance to wear the black jersey is a privilege and an opportunity to add to the legacy of the All Blacks,” Clarke said.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved with a new coaching group this year and to know I’ll have the opportunity to put my hand up again in 2025.”
The news comes as New Zealand prepare to begin their Rugby Championship title defence with two matches against Argentina on Aug 10 and 17.
Caleb is a talented athlete and a quality person who is getting better at his craft,” All Blacks head coach Scott Robertson said in a statement. “It’s great to have him in the All Blacks.”
Clarke scored a hat-trick of tries in the Blues’ 41-10 victory over the Waikato Chiefs in the Super Rugby Pacific final and was delighted to pen the extension to remain with the side.
