Race 1 (1,000m)

(5) SOSORU showed improvement in his second start when only finding one better on the day. He should prove hard to beat.

(8) ENDEARING PEACE, (9) GIMME SOME LUCK and (13) LIFE’S TREASURES are all making their debuts, so keep an eye on their betting.

Race 2 (1,000m)

(2) WINGS OF KILDRA has shown improvement of late and is knocking at the door for a victory. She may well go one place better.
(3) MASTER’S LADY has been good of late without winning and should fight out the finish.
(1) DUCHESS DI seemed to need her last run and could strip fitter this time and is not out of it. 
(11) HOC EST VITA is capable of further improvement and could make the frame.

Race 3 (1,200m)

(9) SHERLOCK HOLMES has run well in both starts and should be ready to open his winning account.
(3) ARIZONA MAGIC is improving and should fight out the finish yet again.
(5) ONCEINABLUEMOON has some fair recent form and holds a place chance.
(6) PURPLE RAIN found betting support on debut, so look for a much improved run from her and she could be a threat.

Race 4 (1,450m)

(9) MOANA only found one better on the day on debut and does look the one they all have to beat.
(1) WITHOUT REMORSE showed vast improvement last time and is likely to be a threat yet again.
(2) THE REASON is consistent and would not be a surprise winner.
(3) SAVARA’S PRINCESS holds place chance in this line-up but does need to improve to win.

Race 5 (1,450m)

(1) GOLDEN OPERATOR is improving and the addition of blinkers could spark a winning performance.
(6) OKLAHOMA SMOKESHOW 
keeps improving and would not be a surprise winner.
(5) AQUARIUS has shown promise. Should be thereabouts.
(2) NEVER NEVER LAND was a disappointment last time but could do better this track and distance.

Race 6 (1,450m)

(1) MISS HANNIGAN is very consistent and deserves her winning turn but she does give weight away to most of her rivals.
(7) VAMANOS is in good shape and is capable of scoring, so should be included in all perms.
(6) SEASON’S GREETINGS is improving and can win again.
(2) CEUTA is unreliable but can earn some money.

Race 7 (1,450m)

(6) WINDS OF GRACE has a string of three runner-up performances in a row and can go one better this course and distance.
(5) TRIP OF FAITH won in just her second start and could be well ahead of her merit rating.
(4) KENSAL GREEN lacked a strong finish last time but can be competitive once again.
(1) PLAY WITH FIRE is not reliable but can earn some money.

Race 8 (1,000m)

(6) RONDEBOSCH is a winner over 1,000m on good ground, but has not really shown of late. He has ability, though.
(4) ALPINE JET remains in good form and should make a bold bid at beating these rivals.
(7) CAROLINE ISLAND is consistent and not out of it.
(5) KAALVOET is in good form and is also not out of it.

Race 9 (1,000m)

(13) ORIENTAL BOUQUET is probably at her very best over this distance and could win a very open handicap.
(5) TIME IS PRECIOUS only took two starts to get out of the maiden ranks and could be better that his merit rating.
(2) INAFIX is unreliable but is capable of another win.
(3) TIGER STORM has pace and could get involved with the finish.
