Since breaking into the local basketball scene in her mid-teens, Ariel Loiter is known for being handy at long shots.

Now 18, the national player has overcome considerable odds to earn a full scholarship to play National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 basketball for Colgate University in the United States.
