Badminton: Reluctant Ukrainian globetrotters aim to keep flag flying

SINGAPORE - If they could, Ukrainian badminton players Yelyzaveta Zharka, Mariia Stoliarenko and Polina Buhrova would board a plane and head back home today.

Instead, the trio, who competed at the Singapore Badminton Open this week, will have to continue being reluctant globetrotters given the state of their country since the Russian invasion in February.
