SINGAPORE - Haris Inoue, 49, has been ferrying visitors on a tram along Sentosa’s beaches for the past 17 years but recently the roles were reversed and he played the tourist.

From April 4 to May 21, he embarked on a 48-day cycling adventure in Norway, clocking a distance of 2,100km on two wheels.
In order to fund his travels, he had to first sell his roadbike worth $4,000, one that he used to cycle around Singapore with his friends for leisure, and get the blessings of his wife, Kaori Inoue.
