Young performers ready to shine for ChildAid

The Sugar Rush dance crew performing two songs - A World To Imagine by Iskandar Ismail and Paul Tan, and Hotline Bling by Drake - at the full dress rehearsal of the ChildAid charity concert last night. The concert will be staged at the Grand Theatre of Marina Bay Sands, the event's official partner, at 7.30pm today and tomorrow. This is the 11th edition of the concert, one of Singapore's biggest annual charity concerts. ChildAid was started in 2005 by The Straits Times and The Business Times to raise funds for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. This year, there are more than 19 dance and music acts and a total of 123 performers aged seven to 19 years old from diverse backgrounds. Tickets are priced from $18 to $38 and the public can buy tickets by visiting www.marinabaysands.com/ticketing or calling 6688-8826.
