SINGAPORE – A woman and a baby were taken to hospital following a three-car accident on Airport Boulevard on the evening of Nov 16.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they responded to an accident involving three cars on the road, in the direction towards the city, at about 8.20pm.

A 34-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy – both car passengers – were taken conscious to Sengkang General Hospital. Another person, who was assessed by the SCDF for minor injuries, declined to be taken to hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The Traffic Police said in

its mid-year report in August

that road traffic accidents and casualties have been increasing over the past three years.

The number of accidents resulting in injuries increased from 3,437 in the first half of 2024 to 3,740 in the same period of 2025. This led to 4,860 injured people, up from 4,665 the year before.
