Who should decide what is racist?

There're few easy answers; it'll take hard work and will be uncomfortable but S'poreans know harmony takes effort

Read the comments below many of the stories about the "brownface" e-payment ad and the response video that came after it, and you will find many posts that express one of two conflicting sentiments: "This ad and/or video is offensive/distasteful and has no place in Singapore" or "I don't see what is the big fuss over this ad and/or video. Everyone just needs to stop being so sensitive."

There did not, superficially at least, appear to be any broad consensus about whether one or both or neither of the two things were offensive.
