What it should have been

In Wednesday's report, "No need to stock up on repellents: FairPrice", we stated that a Sheng Siong spokesman had said that several of its stores might not have stock of mosquito repellents owing to the surge in demand. It was actually a Dairy Farm spokesman.

In the Aug 30 report, "SMRT bus drivers can now keep working till 69", and yesterday's report, "SMRT bus captains get pay boost", we said new SMRT bus captains can now earn a monthly gross salary of up to $3,450. This is incorrect. They can now earn $3,540. We also reported that the Singaporean and permanent resident bus captains previously had a starting pay of $1,650 and annual leave of 18 days. It should have been $1,625 and annual leave of 14 to 18 days.

We are sorry for the errors.
