SINGAPORE – Weekly public visits to fire stations will be suspended on Jan 18, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said.

In a Facebook post on Jan 16, SCDF said the temporary closures are due to operational reasons, without elaborating. It added that the weekly visits will resume on Jan 25.

Those who have made bookings will be contacted for a change in schedule.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” SCDF said.

. The visits resumed in July.
