SINGAPORE - A 69-year-old man was arrested for drink driving after his van collided with seven parked vehicles at an open-air HDB carpark in Ang Mo Kio in the wee hours of April 12.
Police said they were alerted to the incident at 218 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 at 12.45am. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said a person was assessed for minor injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital.
In a video posted on the Singapore Roads Accident.Com Facebook group, the boot of a white car looks severely dented, and two lots away, a silver sport utility vehicle is damaged under one headlight. Nearby, some other cars are also variously damaged.
An eyewitness told Shin Min Daily News that he saw a man alighting from the van that collided with the other vehicles.
The 35-year-old chef added that the man appeared to have difficulty walking and needed assistance from passers-by to steady himself.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
