SINGAPORE – Two people were taken to hospital after an accident involving a motorcycle and a car on the BKE on the morning of Nov 11.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force and the police said they were alerted to the accident on the expressway towards PIE at about 7.30am.

A 27-year-old motorcyclist and his 26-year-old female pillion were taken conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

A 55-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, the police said.

In a video posted on a Facebook page that tracks the latest incidents near Johor’s land checkpoints with Singapore, a black sport utility vehicle (SUV) can be seen parked on lane one with its hazard lights flashing.

Two motorcycles, one of which has toppled over, are seen in front of the SUV.

One person is lying down, while another in a helmet is sitting on the ground.

Three other people are seen gathered around the scene.
