SINGAPORE - Commuters travelling between Bedok and Clementi via Orchard Road will have two additional short-trip bus services to meet their needs from Sunday (Feb 25).

Services 7A will run from Bedok to Orchard, and 7B from Clementi to Orchard. Both will operate daily.

They will complement Service 7 that currently runs between Bedok and Clementi bus interchanges, to "better serve the travel needs of commuters", SBS Transit said on Monday (Feb 19).

Service 7A will operate from Bedok Bus Interchange to the bus stop before Orchard Station Exit B. This service will run from 6am, with the last bus departing the interchange at 10.45pm on weekdays, and at 10.30pm on weekends and public holidays.

Service 7B will operate from Clementi Bus Interchange and end at Dhoby Ghaut Station bus stop. The first bus will leave the interchange at 6am, with the last bus departing at 10.50pm on weekdays, and at 10.35pm on weekends and public holidays.

The services will only run in one direction.
