3. ON CESSATION OF WAR GAMES WITH SOUTH KOREA

"We will be stopping the war games which will save us a tremendous amount of money... The war games are very expensive, we pay for the majority of them. Under the circumstances, that we're negotiating... I think it's inappropriate to be having war games."

4. ON HUMAN RIGHTS

"We did discuss it today, strongly. We will be doing something on it. It's rough. It's rough in a lot of places, by the way."

5. ON PULLING OUT US TROOPS FROM SOUTH KOREA

"I'd like to be able to bring them back home.... (The issue is) not part of the equation right now... At some point I hope it will be."

7. ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH KIM JONG UN

“We are very proud of what took place today. I think our whole relationship with North Korea and the Korean Peninsula is going to be a very much different situation than it has in the past. We both want to do something, we both are going to do something. We have developed a very special bond. We are going to take care of a very big and a very dangerous problem for the world.”
