SINGAPORE - Visitors to Capella Singapore hotel were greeted by a mysterious sight on Thursday (June 6): A section of the second floor had been sealed off with black curtains stretching from floor to ceiling and guarded by security cameras positioned around it.

The section was the most visible sign that the hotel is preparing to be the venue for one of the most anticipated diplomatic bilateral meetings in recent times - the summit between United States President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
