SINGAPORE - Friends from overseas coming to town and you have no idea where to take them to?
Travel website TripAdvisor has compiled a handy list of 50 iconic places to visit in Singapore, based on its data on the most-reviewed attractions and eateries.
Launched on Friday in conjunction with Singapore's 50th birthday, the Singapore50 list includes tourist favourites such as the Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Zoo, Universal Studios Singapore, Merlion Park and the Singapore Botanic Gardens, as well as popular neighbourhoods such as Orchard Road, Chinatown, Little India and Clarke Quay.
Also in the list are things to do in Singapore, including having the famous Singapore Sling at Long Bar, enjoying local food at Lau Pa Sat Festival Market, understanding Singapore's history at the Changi Chapel and Museum, shopping any time of the day at Mustafa Centre and visiting the islands of Sentosa or Pulau Ubin.
