SINGAPORE - A tree fell along Tiong Bahru Road on Friday (June 17) evening following heavy rain in the area.
No one was injured or trapped underneath the tree, a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesman told The Straits Times.
SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at 7.13pm on Friday, dispatching one fire engine.
Pictures sent by Straits Times reader Eudon Yap show the tree blocking an entire section of the road.
It is understood that NParks is currently removing it.
