Figure down from 71% in 2018 as competition increased in market which shrank nearly 10%

The top 10 best-selling car brands cornered 66.4 per cent of a shrunken market last year, down from 70.5 per cent in 2018 as competition increased.

The list had mostly familiar contenders, led by Toyota, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and BMW, with Audi replacing Subaru on the honour roll.
