School buses lining up in the compound of St Stephen’s School on Jan 26, 2023.

The appointed bus operator at St Stephen's School is not able to fulfil their contract. 52 students were informed on a Sunday night that there would be no bus service for them with immediate effect. The company has even resorted to using Private Hire / Rental cars to send children (likely because they don't have enough buses and drivers)

The new fares are understood to be higher by as much as $50 a month, from a previous fare of around $130 on one of the routes.
