Just over a year after Lornie Highway opened to traffic, the plan to transform the road it replaced into a slow-traffic corridor with walking and cycling facilities is taking shape.
Lornie Road, which had up to four lanes each way, has been downgraded to a dual two-lane road. Speed humps have also been put up at several locations, especially stretches near houses.
