SINGAPORE - Payment solutions provider Nets on Friday (April 15) launched a campaign to reward users who pay for their MRT, LRT and bus rides using their Nets FlashPay cards.

In a press release, Nets said the campaign includes the sale of limited-edition Angry Birds Movie FlashPay cards in April and May at TransitLink ticket offices and passenger service centres at MRT stations. Consumers will get a $1 rebate redeemable at any Add Value Machine at MRT stations.

From April 15 to Sept 30, FlashPay users are eligible for a weekly lucky draw in which 250 commuters will win a $38 rebate each when they use their FlashPay cards in transit. To qualify for the draw, they need to register their 16-digit CAN number at www.nets.com.sg/netsflashpay

Nets chief executive Jeffrey Goh said: "The campaign is aimed at getting more people to commute with Nets FlashPay."

FlashPay is accepted at over 100,000 points including retailers, food courts, convenience stores and supermarkets. It is also used on the MRT, LRT, public buses and some taxis as well as for ERP and Cepas-compliant carpark charges.

There are currently about 7.3 million FlashPay cards in circulation.
