SINGAPORE – Train service at all Circle Line (CCL) stations will begin earlier at 7.30am on two Saturdays – Oct 11 and Nov 22 – instead of the late opening hours currently in place for weekends.

In a Facebook post on Oct 1, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said this is to further reduce inconvenience as train service at CCL stations

ends earlier and starts later

on most weekends between Sept 5 and Dec 28.

During this period, train service will end at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and start at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is to allow for time to test the integration of systems across the MRT line before the opening of CCL Stage 6 in the first half of 2026, said LTA and the line’s operator SMRT on Aug 12.

The weekends of Oct 3 to 5, Nov 28 to 30, and Dec 5 to 7 are excluded from these early closures and late openings, meaning that train service will operate at regular hours on those weekends.
