SINGAPORE – The structure of this year’s public transport fare revision shields vulnerable commuters more than in previous years.
A key component of the revision was to maintain or lower the cost of monthly passes, which helps frequent users of public transport. As witnessed in many other cities, those who commute more tend to do so because of circumstances.
